Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Minifigure Enthusiast to join our team at the Nottingham Christmas Market. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a keen interest in minifigures and collectibles, combined with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with visitors, providing product information, and creating a festive atmosphere. This paid position is ideal for those who enjoy interacting with the public and have a flair for sales and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with visitors and customers, sharing knowledge about our range of minifigures and related products
  • Assist customers, friendly and professional .
  • Promote products through upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
  • Maintain an organised and visually appealing display of minifigures at the stall
  • Support in setting up and dismantling displays as required during the market period
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Utilise analysis skills to understand customer preferences and adapt sales approaches accordingly

Experience

  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales environments is desirable but not essential
  • Multilingual abilities are advantageous; fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred
  • Bilingual candidates with strong communication skills will be highly valued
  • Experience in data entry or analysis tasks will be beneficial for maintaining accurate records
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively and provide exceptional customer service
  • Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional communication standards
