Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. The position involves delivering goods across different routes, maintaining vehicle safety standards, and providing exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicle adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly during transit.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Assist with warehouse duties such as stock organisation and heavy lifting when required.
  • Provide excellent customer service by being professional, courteous, and responsive during deliveries.

Requirements

  • Full UK driver's licence for atleast 2years
  • Ideally living within 2 - 3 miles radius from OL7.
  • Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • Good organisational skills for route planning.
  • A responsible attitude towards safety protocols and vehicle maintenance is essential. This role offers an engaging work environment for motivated individuals eager to contribute to our logistics team through dedicated service delivery.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
