If you are looking for a role where your expertise in Solvency II and regulatory reporting will make a real impact, this is an exceptional opportunity to advance your career within a supportive and knowledgeable finance team.

What you'll do:

As Group Regulatory Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for driving excellence in regulatory reporting and treasury oversight within a collaborative finance team. Your day-to-day activities will involve preparing complex regulatory submissions, developing insightful commentaries for senior leaders, forecasting future financial positions under multiple accounting standards, and contributing to process improvements through automation initiatives. You will also produce regular investment performance reports, manage cash flow forecasting activities, update critical internal policies, implement advanced treasury systems, monitor liquidity risks across the group, nurture relationships with external banking partners, and support statutory account preparations. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail combined with an ability to see the bigger picture, ensuring that all reporting is not only accurate but also strategically aligned with organisational goals.

  • Oversee the preparation of comprehensive Group regulatory reports such as SFCR, ORSA, and QRT, ensuring all documentation accurately reflects core financial results and solvency positions.
  • Prepare detailed commentaries on regulatory reports and present key findings to senior stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Develop forecasted balance sheets under UK GAAP and Solvency II frameworks, supporting forward-looking financial planning.
  • Contribute actively to the automation of Solvency II reporting processes by designing efficient, scalable solutions tailored to a rapidly expanding business environment.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly management reports analysing investment portfolio performance for internal review.
  • Compile Quarterly Investment Committee packs and credit risk reports to inform decision-making at the highest levels.
  • Review daily cash management transfers and oversee weekly cash flow forecasting to maintain optimal liquidity across the group.
  • Update internal policies related to Liquidity, Capital Management, Investment, and Solvency II as required by evolving business needs.
  • Play a central role in implementing treasury management systems that enhance visibility and control over group-wide financial activities.
  • Monitor group-wide cash positions, investments, liquidity risks, and capital efficiency to ensure robust financial health.
  • Manage relationships with bankers and asset managers to optimise funding strategies and investment outcomes.
  • Support the year-end statutory accounts process by providing accurate data and analysis as needed.

What you bring:

Whether professionally qualified or possessing equivalent expertise gained through practical experience, your background equips you well for this multifaceted role. Your analytical skills enable you to interpret complex financial information accurately while communicating insights effectively. You thrive when managing competing priorities under pressure without compromising quality or deadlines. Your commitment to process improvement ensures that you continually seek out opportunities for greater efficiency. Above all, your attention to detail combined with an ability to maintain strategic perspective makes you an invaluable member of any finance team.

  • Demonstrated experience in regulatory reporting within the insurance industry is essential for success in this role.
  • Hands-on expertise in Solvency II frameworks including capital modelling and ORSA calculations is highly desirable.
  • Advanced understanding of general accounting principles and practices enables you to navigate complex financial scenarios confidently.
