Circa £90,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 4)

We're looking for a visionary and driven Infrastructure General Manager to lead the transformation of our depot infrastructure across the UK. If you thrive on solving complex challenges, influencing strategic decisions, and creating spaces that power operational excellence, then this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

In this pivotal role, you'll lead the planning, design, and delivery of new depots and infrastructure that will support our logistics network for the next 20 plus years. You'll be the critical link between construction experts and operational teams, ensuring every space is smart, sustainable, and built to perform.

What you'll do

  • Partner with senior leaders and external specialists to align depot design with long-term business goals
  • Translate operational needs into innovative, practical infrastructure plans
  • Design layouts that enhance flow, safety, and productivity
  • Influence investment decisions with compelling design proposals
  • Drive cost efficiencies and operational improvements through smart infrastructure
  • Lead seamless transitions from legacy sites to future-ready facilities
  • Champion collaboration between construction and logistics teams
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and bring fresh thinking to every project
  • Build and lead a high-performing team that delivers results

This role would suit people who have

  • Proven experience of leading large-scale, multi-year infrastructure projects
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • A deep understanding of logistics, supply chain, and warehouse operations
  • Expertise in warehouse design, transport flows, inventory systems, and automation
  • Confidence in navigating complex project governance and frameworks

We're an organisation that puts people and communities first, and we're powered by purpose. We want this to be a place where you can thrive, so you'll also receive:

  • An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
  • 28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
  • A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
  • Private healthcare for you and your family
  • Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
  • Coaching and training to support your career development
  • Wagestream app - giving you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn
