London, Greater London, United Kingdom Oritain Full time £40,000 - £70,000 per year

Oritain is the global leader in product verification, with locations in Auckland, Dunedin, London, Singapore and Washington D.C. Our vision is to be the source of truth in global supply chains and our mission is to harness science, technology and services to create a community of origin verified buyers and suppliers, protecting our people and planet.
About The Role
As a
Sample Collection Technician
at Oritain, you'll play a key role at the early stages of our client journey. Working closely with Service Delivery Managers and Production Team Managers, you'll be responsible for document collection and data analysis to ensure the smooth delivery of sampling activities and fulfilment of contract obligations. Your work will help maintain the consistent, high-quality service our customers know and trust.

This is a
desk-based role
(not in a laboratory) that reports to our Production Team Lead in New Zealand, so some collaboration outside standard UK office hours will be required.

Key Responsibilities
Document Collection & Analysis
You'll support the review and organisation of client documentation, ensuring it meets requirements and is accurately uploaded to our internal systems. Working as part of a global team, you'll collate key information, coordinate sample collections, and maintain data accuracy to support smooth analysis and reporting. With strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset, you'll help deliver a consistent, high-quality service our customers can rely on.

Process Improvement
You'll look for opportunities to enhance service delivery, driving consistency, quality, and efficiency across all client engagements. Working collaboratively, you'll help refine workflows, track key metrics, and support initiatives that foster continuous improvement.

Customer Support
You'll act as the link between customer requirements and on-the-ground execution, helping to plan and coordinate collection events. You'll also respond to client inquiries, maintain strong relationships, and uphold Oritain's commitment to quality and service excellence.

Delivery Of Services
You'll coordinate resources and manage dependencies to ensure timely, accurate service delivery. Working closely with Delivery Managers, you'll help identify and resolve risks, maintain focus on priorities, and contribute to achieving measurable results for our clients.

Skills & Experience
You're a proactive problem solver who enjoys improving how things are done and working as part of a supportive team. You take pride in accuracy and consistency, with strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills. You're comfortable handling data and documents, and confident using tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with platforms like Confluence or Trello is a bonus.

You're adaptable, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You build positive relationships, share ideas freely, and approach challenges with curiosity and initiative. A relevant degree or diploma is desirable, but your enthusiasm, teamwork, and commitment to learning are what matter most.

Sustainability isn't just about tackling climate change, it represents a growing conscience around our actions and the impact they have on people, animals and planet. The personal, professional and governmental move to sustainable practice is driven by a desire to change our impact on the world, but we can't do this without knowing the certainty of our actions.

Transparency is one way of holding ourselves accountable, but for it to be effective it must be underpinned by proven traceability.

Our scientific traceability does just that. Working with Mother Nature, we help brands across fashion, food and pharmaceutical industries verify the origin and authenticity of their products and raw materials. With this verified truth, brands are empowered to make changes across their supply chain to operate more sustainably, and pass those assurances onto their consumers
