About the Role:

We're hiring a talented Turkish/Arabic Chef for a new, high-quality restaurant opening soon in Dundee. The ideal candidate will bring authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavours to life and have strong expertise in Mangal grill cooking. You'll play a key role in shaping the kitchen setup, menu development, and daily operations for this exciting new concept.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook authentic Turkish and Arabic dishes, specialising in Mangal and charcoal grill techniques.
  • Oversee meat preparation, marinades, and cooking consistency to ensure exceptional taste and quality.
  • Support menu creation, portion control, and recipe development.
  • Maintain the highest food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Train and supervise kitchen assistants to deliver consistency across all dishes.
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage kitchen stock efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with management to achieve smooth kitchen operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Turkish or Arabic Chef, ideally in a Mangal or charcoal grill restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional Middle Eastern spices, marinades, and grilling techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent kitchen management and teamwork skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate).
