Glasgow, Ontario, United Kingdom CCG (Scotland) Ltd Full time £36,000 - £42,000 per year

CCG (Scotland) is one of the country's largest construction and manufacturing groups, and we seek an entry-level candidate to support our Developments team, which specialises in land acquisition and the provision of pre-construction services for the purpose of delivering private and affordable housing.

SALARY:
 £30k+

HOURS:
 Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4pm, core flexible hours available

LOCATION:
 CCG (Scotland) Ltd HQ, 9 Cambuslang Road, Cambuslang Investment Park, Glasgow, G32 8NB

Office-based role, non-hybrid working.

The successful candidate will expand and develop skills relative to:

  • Take offs
  • Cost planning
  • Ongoing review of the financial viability of developments
  • Financial reporting of private development projects
  • Management of design teams
  • Programming development projects
  • Statutory consents (e.g. Planning permission, Building warrants etc)
  • Land bidding and negotiation
  • Liaising with clients

SKILLS

  • BSc Quantity Surveying / Building Surveying / Construction Management, or in the final year of their course
  • Experience in undertaking take offs
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel & Outlook
  • Basic knowledge of residential construction
  • Motivated and takes initiative.
  • Conscientious and detail-oriented
  • Experience working in an office environment – preferred but not essential
  • Driving licence
