Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, with experience in food production and a keen eye for detail. As a Head Chef you will manage kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation, and leading the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily kitchen operations and managing staff.
  • Supervise and train kitchen personnel, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, following health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and presented attractively.
  • Handle any customer inquiries or complaints regarding food quality or service.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising staff.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred but not essential.
