We are hiring an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team and be assigned to a major international Oil & Gas upstream project (CPF-2). The successful candidate will manage and oversee the electrical detailed engineering activities carried out by the EPC contractor, ensuring full compliance with the project's technical, safety, and quality requirements.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a world-class project from our UK base, with occasional site missions overseas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate electrical detailed engineering activities performed by the EPC contractor.
  • Ensure all engineering work complies with the approved Statement of Requirements (SOR), project standards, and international codes.
  • Manage technical interfaces and support from company headquarters when needed.
  • Ensure procurement of electrical equipment aligns with project specifications and objectives.
  • Report progress and technical issues to the Engineering Manager; assist with change orders and schedule assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with Safety, QA/QC, Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams on all electrical matters.
  • Participate in design reviews, vendor evaluations, and project audits.
  • Support and uphold the project's HSE standards and objectives.

Profile and Experience

  • Minimum 15 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer or Specialist in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proven experience across all project phases: FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning.
  • At least 10 years on major or large-scale upstream projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of international electrical codes and standards (experience with TotalEnergies standards is a plus).
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
