Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals to service users in their home settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while fostering a supportive environment for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity while providing companionship.
  • Follow individual care plans to ensure tailored support for each client's needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on client progress and any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Skills

  • Experience in home care settings is preferred but not essential.
  • Proficient in English, with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively within the team.
  • Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • A valid driving licence is required.
