The Club

The Oxford and Cambridge Club is an exclusive private members Club with a Grade II*-listed Clubhouse in central London. The Club has 46 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, 3 banqueting suites, 2 bars, 2 squash courts, a billiards room and extensive libraries. The Club has nearly 5000 members.

The Role

We are recruiting for a Room Attendant to join the Housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a 5 star environment. We are looking for someone who is highly personable, passionate about delivering five star service in a busy working environment. The role is a full time position working 40 hours per week, any 5 days out of 7 including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

The Person

  • Reliable, professional and good team player.
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Have good communication skills, engage well with the members and very much a team player

Main Duties

  • Responsible for keeping bedrooms and public areas clean, safe, stocked and maintained.
  • Operate laundry and housekeeping equipment; washing machine, dryer, steam machine, carpet shampooing machine etc.
  • Transport dirty linen and rubbish from the floors to the designated areas on regular intervals throughout the day
