EXIT AND TRANSITION MANAGER
one with experience leading tech services transitions (SIM, AMS, Hosting, etc), one with experience in Contact Centre/Back Office and one with experience in Financial Processing/reconciliation or general finance experience)
Purpose:
Deliver seamless transfer of services from incumbent to new service provider and ensure all operational activities to exit from incumbent are completed to plan
Duration: 12 months rolling

- Contact Centre Services and Document Management / Fulfillment Services E&T Lead
Role / Deliverables
During Procurement / lead up to Contract Award:
- Manage discussions with incumbent on Exit (Service Transfer) Plan, ensuring a coherent, viable, joined up and complete plan is produced to cover all of the services
- Review bidders proposed transition plans, ensuring they are comprehensive, viable, clear and joined-up for all the in-scope services
- Review bidders proposed transition / set-up plan for Service Integration and Management (SIAM),ensuring it is comprehensive, viable and clear
- Ensure there is alignment across incumbent and bidder Exit and Transition plans to deliver a joined-up approach to Service Transfer, with specific focus on SIAM
- Define acceptance criteria for SIAM exit and transition deliverables and communicate
- Ensure appropriate acceptance criteria are in place for all services exit and transition deliverables and that these are effectively communicated
- As well as responsibility for the overall Exit and Transition Plan, take specific responsibility for transfer / set-up of Service Integration and Management services
Post Contract Award:
- Manage full exit and transition to plan
- Take specific responsibility for transfer / set-up of Service Integration and Management services
- Co-ordinate required deliverables between incumbent and incoming service provider
- Continue to work with Change Lead to ensure Client change plan is aligned to Exit and Transition Plan
- Work with other programme team members to ensure deliverable due dates are aligned to plan and deliver to plan (eg. TUPE, asset transfer)
- Manage acceptance of deliverables against DBS agreed criteria
- Manage acceptance testing for service cut-over, ensuring approval for cut-over is only given once all required Client stakeholders have accepted service performance
Post Service Commencement with new service provider:
- Manage service stabilization plan
- Manage handover of services from the Programme to BAU
- Manage closure of the exit and transition project (not the ST Programme), ensuring all project closure activities are completed
Ongoing throughout:
- Capture lessons to be learned and identify action plans to ensure lessons are learned
- Maintain complete, accurate and up to date documentation regarding the exit and transition activities
- Build body of knowledge around the E&T activities, processes, documentation, etc such that this can be re-used on future transition of these and similar services
