Experienced Property Manager Role in our busy Bow office

Duties include (not limited to):

Managing a portfolio of properties

Logging repairs/reporting/progressing until completion

Liaison with landlords, tenants, contractors

Safety Compliance i.e. Gas Safety, Electrical Testing, EPC etc

Managing property licensing renewals, Council inspections / Progressing any license compliance works

Processing invoices

Dealing with deposit disputes and resolutions alongside lettings team when necessary

Various Aspects of Property Management Administration

Experience of property management software systems (We use CARL, Goodlord, Fixflo. Some training will be given)

Keys signing in/out and registering new keys on our in-house system

Property Inspections

Serving Section 8, 13 and 21 Notices

Dealing with inventory and check outs (ad hoc)

Supporting lettings team where needed

Being present in weekly whole office

and management team meetings

The applicant will need to have exceptional communication skills, be well presented as well as:

Minimum 2 years' experience in the lettings industry

Awareness of the impending Rights Rents Bill and able to assist the team through these changes

Knowledge of tenancy related legislation

It is highly desirable that candidates have intermediate computer literacy, the ability to work under pressure at times and to be able to prioritise and organise workload

A Can Do problem solving attitude

Good communication and presentation skills

A full driving license is preferable and use of a vehicle for inspections. Business insurance required, mileage claims can be discussed.

Local Authority restricted parking applies in our area so something to be discussed

Working Hours

Monday – Friday – 9.00 – 5.30

(Office based)

Holidays – 20 days (plus bank holidays and Christmas closing times)

Annual Salary - £30,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)
