Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
• Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service and build rapport.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, ingredients, and presentation techniques.
• Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during beverage preparation.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Assist in training new staff members as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a bartending or restaurant role is preferred.
• Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
