For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $112,000 - $168,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.

About the role:
We are seeking a Cooling Systems Mechanical Engineer.
Are you an inquisitive and self-motivated Cooling Systems Mechanical Engineer with a passion for sustainable technologies and a keen interest in the data center industry?
If so, Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for you Join our high-performance Technology Exploration team as a Senior Cooling Systems Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of creating innovative cooling architectures for the next generation of data centers and AI workloads.
The ideal candidate should be:
Curious, self-motivated, and passionate about sustainability and new data center technologies. Experienced with creating new data center electrical architectures and researching new technologies. Successful collaboration with customers, cross-functional teams, and able to work independently.The successful candidate will work with data center cooling systems, including, but not limited to air cooling, liquid cooling, thermal energy modeling, outdoor heat rejection and heat reuse. The ideal candidate will also have familiarity with the sustainability drivers for cooling systems in data centers.
Main activities:
Shape new data center cooling architectures incorporating new technologies according to IT infrastructure evolution and Data Center profile (AI factory, Large scale data center, network edge and prefab solutions,…) Research, qualify and summarize new technologies Collaborate directly with customers and tech partners on innovation design work Collaborate directly with lines of business of new product development.What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, PE preferred Minimum 4 years of experience within the data center industry, preferred experience with DX and chilled water systems Experienced in cooling systems design, including sizing, measurement and control Proficient in cooling system design and modeling tools Must have the legal right to work in the US (no option to support sponsorship) Proven aptitude and ability to succeed in a research environmentLet us learn about you Apply today.
