Your new role:
Reporting to the Head of Group Risk & Compliance International here in London, you'll lead the Line 2 Risk function for our UK operations and play a key role in implementing the Fund's global business plans.

This is a leadership role with a strong focus on non-financial risk, ensuring our international operations align with the Fund's enterprise risk framework and uphold our Members First culture.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and develop the UK Risk team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and delegate for the Head of Department on risk matters.
  • Represent the team in the development of our new Risk Target Operating Model and revised Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, regulators, and industry bodies.
  • Provide Line 2 risk services that support the Fund's international strategy.
  • Drive the embedding of a sound risk culture across the London office and link all activities back to member outcomes.
  • Oversee risk identification, assessment, and reporting for boards and committees.

What you'll bring:

  • Hold an accreditation in Risk Management or be willing to obtain one after joining the Fund.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and translate external regulatory requirements to shape business outcomes, both locally and globally.
  • Significant experience in non-financial risk management within financial services, ideally funds management or trading compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks and their practical application.
  • Commercial acumen, critical thinking, and a growth mindset.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
  • A relevant degree and deep understanding of investment management, pensions, and financial services.
