Solar Installation labourer

The Solar Labourer will support qualified installers and electricians on-site with the physical and practical aspects of installing solar panels and battery systems. No prior solar experience is required, but a good attitude, physical fitness, and basic tool use are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with carrying, lifting, and moving solar panels and mounting equipment
  • Set up and clear down job sites (scaffolding, tools, waste)
  • Help assemble mounting systems and railings on roofs
  • Support the solar installers with panel placement and fixings
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and tidy
  • Follow instructions from electricians and supervisors
  • Comply with health & safety procedures, including PPE and fall protection
  • Load/unload materials from vans and help with general logistics

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: £500.00 per week

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
