Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within residential property. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and personal service to contribute to a welcoming and hygienic atmosphere. Prior experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

  • Clean and sanitise rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
  • Change bed linen and make beds to ensure a neat appearance
  • Sweep, vacuum, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products as needed
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist with specialised cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning or deep cleans when required
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests courteously and promptly

Skills

  • Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, is preferred
  • Basic cooking skills are considered a bonus for roles involving hospitality settings
  • Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
  • Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £14.00 per hour
