Job description

Due to an increase in workload throughout our Fabrication Workshop we are looking for a Fabrication Supervisor. The successful candidate will be able to work from both technical drawings or verbal descriptions supplied by our management team and have a flexible approach to additional working hours to meet the demands of production.

Key Responsibilities:

· Track jobs through the production process at each stage or build

· Control drawing documentation to ensure all drawings are issued, returned and cross referenced to manufactured sections

· Control high value consumables

· Manage Project material ordering process for just in time deliveries

· Raising of non-conformance records & investigate issues

· Conduct quality checks of fabricated steel sections

Skills and qualifications:

· Proficient with MS Office 365, written reports and documentation

· Proven experience with Steel Fabrication workshop procedures

· Experience with steel sections & terminologies

· Experience of fabrication & welding

· Experience with fabrication drawings

· Methodical approach to work & able to self-check and identify own omissions

· Motivated and drive

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,000.00 per year
