Mortgage and Protection Adviser

We are looking for a personable and adaptable individual join our team as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser across our Oxford branch network.

In this role you would be responsible for maximising all new business opportunities generated for potential applicants, landlords, buyers and sellers. You'll start to build a long-term relationship using effective people and communication skills while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. You'll be part of one team, working together, and sharing knowledge and information, to ensure our customers get advice that helps them to make sound financial decisions and enjoy their home.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

• To report to the Andrews Mortgage Services Operations Manager.
• To identify business prospects i.e. applicants, vendors, viewers and clients who may also buy with another agent. Match them with appropriate Mortgage, Protection and General Insurance products.
• To be effective in following up all new and existing business leads generated from the above including those from our existing client portfolio.
• Ensure all customers are fully aware of the process they are entering into, including the costs and financial implication.
• To fully utilise and comply with systems and procedures which are in place.
• To maximise business efficiency through effective diary and system management, ensuring we make the best use of our time, and work to suit the needs of our customers.
• To assist in the training and motivation of the branch staff to encourage appropriate lead generation to Andrews Mortgage Services, and to self-generate leads from missed opportunities to meet targets.
• Ensure you understand your branch and personal KPIs, to lead to achieving and exceeding the figures required to satisfy the branch/department performance.
• To continually update yourself with the Protection and Mortgage market place through training, product literature, and technology, and Protection & General Insurance Advice Standards.

The Successful Candidate will have:

• Proven experience working in a mortgage role.
• A CeMAP or equivalent qualifications.
• Good understanding of market demand and customer behaviour.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• A self-motivated and positive attitude.
• Excellent organisational skills, and an eye for detail.
• Familiarity with the use of IT systems.
• Their own transport and full UK driving licence.
