Pharmacy Assistant/Dispensary Technician

Duties include: Stock maintenance; Merchandising products; Awareness of customer needs and provide exceptional customer service; Accuracy in the operation of till transactions and cash handling; Assisting the Pharmacist with dispensary related tasks, including receiving and preparing prescriptions, orders, date checking etc. Assist on Medicines counter; General housekeeping; Other duties as required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIRMENTS: Retail Experience; Have an interest in Pharmacy and Dispensing; Be hard working and enthusiastic; Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills; Good attendance and punctuality; Have the ability to work as part of a team; Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy;

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS: 6 months experience in a similar pharmacy environment; Previous pharmacy experience, working and advising on the OTC counter; Good understanding of professional services; NPA/Buttercups Dispensary Assistants qualification or equivalent.
