Job Summary

Suitable for 16-17 years

We are seeking suitable candidates for our hairdressing apprenticeship programme. The ideal candidate will work within a hairdressing salon and be fully trained and guided to be able to fulfil the apprenticeship requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the salon environment to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
  • Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on styles and treatments.
  • Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries.
  • Attend 1 day college to meet the requirements of the hairdressing programme.

Skills

  • Good attendance and punctuality.
  • Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Willing to learn and take on board feedback.
  • Work effectively within a team, supporting and guiding each other.
  • Customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships with clients.

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: From £7.55 per hour
