ACTIVATION MANAGER KEY ACCOUNTS (INDIRECT)
As Activation Manager Key Accounts (with a focus on either Direct or Indirect Key Accounts) you will report to the Head of Activation and will be responsible for the design and implementation of the multibrand activation strategy within the Key Accounts channel. You will work closely with the Category team to understand and unlock white space opportunities and lead your activation with a category first approach. Together with your (Direct or Indirect) NAM counterpart, you will be responsible for customer relationships with your Key
Accounts portfolio and the joint implementation of the activation plans.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Activation strategy: support the establishment of the PPD UKI activation strategy. Combining insights from business intelligence, category, commercial and brand teams to build the activation plan for your customers and brands
- B2B Key Account knowledge/expertise ownership with the (Direct or Indirect) NAM counterpart for the division
- Customer relationships: strong customer relationships, ensuring that bespoke business plans are created with a clear activation plan embedded
- Market/category expertise + PPD brand & channel strategy ownership with the customer
- Analyse multiple sources of data to fully understand your customer. Develop full understanding of all internal + external data sources, software + toolkit and use appropriate data to drive all activation decisions
- Co-build the Customer Business Plan with the NAM (assortment, education, merchandising, promotion plan) based on turnover & profitability objectives + marketing plan of each brand
- Align marketing on the A&P or trade investments before customer negotiation
- Activate the levers of trade marketing according to the business models of the clients and maximize mono & multi brand activation plan with his/her customers
- Implement activation plans: with full alignment and collaboration with marketing and commercial you will ensure that the activation plans are successfully implemented within your portfolio of customers
- Define the right KPIs with brands & NAM & collect the data needed
- In charge of ROI analyses & internal customer reporting on the BP + identify & implement improvements needed
- Participate with the commercial teams in clients' key meetings, to enable the clients in the activation of their business with PPD
- Share best practices in channel activation with the brands, education and sales teams

YOU ARE
- Background / experience in marketing, business development, category and commercial
- Extensive rigor and excellent analytical skills, with the ability to work with multiple continuous data sources
- Excellent Influencing & communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong organisational and time management skills and ability to prioritise
- Ability to work effectively in a team, but also self-sufficient and resilient when working without supervision
- Driven, confident and capable to challenge the status quo
- Enthusiastic and persuasive; flexible, practical and methodical in approach to problem solving
- Good PC skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
