Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Property Manager to manage a portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties in Islington. You'll be responsible for all aspects of property management, including tenant relations, landlord updates, property maintenance, rent collection, and ensuring compliance with current legislation. This role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, along with a strong understanding of property management in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day management of residential and/or commercial properties.
  • Serve as the primary contact for tenants and landlords, addressing concerns and resolving issues.
  • Arrange and manage property repairs, maintenance, and improvements with contractors.
  • Handle tenancy agreements, renewals, terminations, and rent collection.
  • Ensure compliance with UK property laws, including health and safety and licensing regulations.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and provide detailed reports to landlords.
  • Collaborate with the lettings team to minimise vacancies and ensure smooth tenancy transitions.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in property management (ideally in London).
  • Strong knowledge of UK property laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
