Psychology Teacher | Braintree | January Start

Psychology Teacher – Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality Psychology lessons across KS4 and KS5

  • Join a small but dynamic 5-person Psychology and Social Sciences team

  • Take a lead role in curriculum planning and assessment

  • Foster strong student progress and attainment in Psychology

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers

  • Manage classroom behaviour with confidence and consistency

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND

  • Take initiative in resource creation and lesson innovation

Psychology Teacher – Person Specification:
  • 1:1 Psychology degree from a top 20 UK university

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Proven ability to manage behaviour confidently

  • Experience or confidence supporting students with SEND

  • Proactive, flexible, and a strong team player

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Ambition to progress into middle or senior leadership
