Hydra Capsule Limited, we are a growing company in Hereford which works through UK and Ireland. We carry out installing temporary propping and hydraulic jacking systems / hiring of equipment across the UK and Europe.

We've been around for almost 35 years and have a strong heritage. Hydra Capsule Limited are one of the leading hire and temporary works, hydraulic jacking & monitoring businesses in the UK, we are currently looking for Site Operative(s) to join our fast paced company in Hereford.

About the role:

Briefly, our Operatives work in teams to make sure our Depots / Company projects (on site - throughout the UK) run smoothly.

There's a lot to the role, but here are some of the key responsibilities:

  • The need to be lifting/manual handling and moving equipment throughout the day is needed. Team-working is essential.
  • Travelling to/from site (driving license required) / Company vehicles to be provided
  • Requirement to work-away and stay away (Hotel, food; breakfast and evening meal, and accommodation provided by company)
  • Assisting site engineers, technicians and installers
  • Travelling extensively throughout the UK, staying away as required
  • Installation, lifting and Dismantling of Temporary Propping / Steelwork
  • Hydraulic Jacking System
  • Preparing, maintaining and cleaning equipment
  • Unloading, sorting and arranging returned equipment
  • Checking that orders are correct before dispatch to a customer
  • Recording receipt of orders following return from on-hire / off-hire
  • Maintaining a clean and safe yard and storage areas
  • Use of digital project management, paperless systems (training to be provided)
  • IT / Tablet literate
  • OVERTIME - will and is available (over-time rate paid)
