About the role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our warm and friendly team.
You will play an important role in supporting children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and in building strong relationships with children and families.
This position is for 38 weeks per year (term-time only), working Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with the possibility of longer working days in the future as the setting develops.
Successful applicants will be invited to spend a short session with the children, followed by an interview with the preschool manager and committee.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Support children's personal, social, and emotional growth.
- Observe, assess, and record progress following EYFS guidance.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
What We're Looking For
- A caring, positive, and reliable team member.
- Experience working with children aged 2–5 years (preferred).
- A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) – preferred.
- Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding.
- Commitment to inclusive practice and child-centred learning.
