Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Schedule appointments, manage the calendar, and confirm bookings with clients.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services and treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date in the system.
• Process payments and handle financial transactions efficiently.
• Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and laboratory preparation.
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Provide support during emergencies by coordinating communication between clients and veterinary staff.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and record management.
