Senior Director, Loan Agency

We are looking for a Loans professional to lead all aspects of Loan Agency delivery across a high-growth, market-leading European commercial real estate finance advisory firm. Operating at the forefront of debt and structured finance, you will work with top-tier stakeholders, and institutional lenders across the UK and continental Europe. As the business continues to scale rapidly, this role will be pivotal in building out robust infrastructure, overseeing complex transaction workflows, and ensuring seamless execution across a growing pipeline of real estate finance mandates.
Senior Director of Loan Agency (CRE Finance Advisory) Responsibilities:
- Own the operations function across multiple mandates involving debt advisory, development finance, and structured capital
- Oversee payment execution, draw schedules, and compliance with lender terms across all live mandates
- Implement robust internal controls and best-in-class workflows around deal settlement, reporting, and post-completion obligations
- Manage the interface with client finance teams, lenders, custodians, and legal counsel
- Lead systems upgrades or platform integrations to scale the operational capability of the business
- Build and manage a small team to support operational delivery as deal volume grows
- Contribute to strategic decisions around transaction infrastructure, service provider selection, and operational risk mitigation
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory and KYC/AML obligations across all mandates
Senior Director of Loan Agency (CRE Finance Advisory) Qualifications & Skills:
- Direct, hands-on experience with Facility Agreements in commercial real estate
- Comfort with manual calculations, notices, hedging, and drawdowns
- 10+ years' experience in real estate finance, banking operations, or fund administration
- Strong understanding of CRE debt structures and the full lifecycle of loan and capital transactions
- Experience in leading payment operations or treasury functions, ideally in a client-facing or third-party capacity
- Proactive, process-driven mindset with experience improving or scaling operational platforms
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including direct client interaction and team leadership
