Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires proficiency in flatbed driving, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies. As a Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations, contributing to the overall success of our business.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all loads are secured properly before transport.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or queries from clients.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar commercial driving role is preferred.
- Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Nights out paid.
