Sheridan Maine are pleased to be working on an exclusive basis with a long standing business based in the Bristol area to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis.

The position will be to start immediately and will be assisting the Financial Controller with a variety of accounting tasks.

Key duties of the role will include:

  • Perform regular account reconciliations
  • Assist with invoicing and supplier payment queries
  • Process company expenses and credit cards
  • Undertake daily bank reconciliations
  • Produce financial reports
  • Support with month end duties such as journals and accruals
  • Conduct financial analysis

The ideal candidate will have some prior experience working within finance and understanding of basic accounting principles. It is essential to have strong communication skills and be able to work with IT systems such as excel and outlook. You must be highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.

The company have an excellent working culture and early finish on Fridays
