Our team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and the belief that diverse perspectives make us stronger. Join us, and you'll have the opportunity to make an impact, grow your career, and be part of a company that celebrates inclusivity and fresh ideas.
Who are we looking for?
- Billing is a vital and complex part of our business. As a Graduate Billing Data Analyst, you'll be working in the heart of our business, in a friendly team which is delivering an industry leading standard of support to our customers.
- Our work is a mixture of essential monthly billing tasks and development work. For a few days each month the focus is on executing the monthly billing processes, but a lot of our time is spent on improving those processes, adding to them to incorporate new products and services, investigating anomalies in their outputs, and resolving them. We have autonomy over our processes and are responsible for seeing them through from start to finish.
- We're a complex business with multiple products, clients and revenue streams, so our billing team handle large quantities of data from a variety of sources. We take raw data and transform it into clear understandable information to send out to our various stakeholders, be that customers, our Sales, Commercial, Accounts and Product teams or the business as a whole.
What will you be doing day-to-day?
- Using tools such as SQL and Python and PowerBI, you'll produce consolidated and accurate billing information for our customers and the wider business.
- Be responsible for the timely reconciliation of suppler invoices. Sharing your understanding of the trends and variances within the data to our accounts team.
- Provide clear and concise reports and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the data contained within.
- You'll be working with our commercial and product teams, understanding the offers they have built for our customers and how these translate to Billing.
- Continually developing and improving the completeness and efficiency of billing tasks, in conjunction with the wider Billing team.
- Ensuring that all process documentation is up to date and that knowledge is shared sufficiently within the team to provide a resilient service.
What You'll Need
- Good technical problem-solving skills – you'll enjoy the challenge of working out how to make things work.
- We deal with large and complex data sets, so you'll be naturally numerate, and a background in STEM is preferred.
- You'll be inherently collaborative, great at working with others to make things happen and resolve issues.
- You'll have strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain up to date records of projects and their progress.
- You are likely to have strong skills in Excel or SQL. Experience or knowledge of Python, Power BI, GIT or JIRA would be of use but we will help you to develop all these skills when you are in the role.
- You will be able to understand complex concepts quickly and be confident about asking questions to deepen your understanding
- We're looking for someone that will bring the core skills to succeed in this environment so that we can work with you over the coming years to enable your growth and development in this exciting and challenging area of our business.
- Based in our central London offices (near to Liverpool Street), this is a hybrid role, and you'll be required in the office 3 days a week.
What do we offer you?
- At Gamma, we believe in work-life balance, which is why we offer 25 days of annual leave, plus an extra day off for your birthday. Giving back is important to us, so we also provide a volunteer day to support a charity that matters to you.
- Family matters, too. With enhanced maternity and paternity pay, we're here to support you as a parent and help you thrive in your career.
- We offer a contributory pension plan to help you save for the years ahead, with Gamma's contribution varying dependant on yours.
- Your well-being is our priority. We offer group income protection and life assurance (four times your salary) to ensure peace of mind for you and your loved ones.
- We want you to share in our success. That's why we offer tax-efficient share save and share incentive plans, giving you the opportunity to benefit from Gamma's growth.
- We're committed to health, both physical and mental, and provide private medical insurance through Vitality, which extends to your immediate family.
- And, because we care about the environment, we offer an Electric Vehicle scheme through Octopus and a Cycle to Work scheme, making it easier to get around sustainably.
A few things to note
- Unfortunately, we can't offer visa sponsorship or relocation support for this role.
- If you feel you could be a good fit for Gamma but do not think that you meet all the requirements, we still encourage you to apply as you could be the person that we are looking for
- Gamma is an equal-opportunity employer. We care about inclusion and believe in having diverse teams where everyone can be their true authentic selves. We value each person and their range of backgrounds and actively encourage people from underrepresented backgrounds to apply.
- We don't discriminate based on any protected characteristics e.g., race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, marital status, disability, or age. We are a family-friendly employer with a culture based on trust, autonomy, and flexibility to help you create a work-life balance and enjoy working here at Gamma.
- For recruitment agencies – we have a network of fantastic partners that support us in our hiring from time to time. We're not looking to increase that network currently, so please don't send speculative CVs.
