Our consultants collaborate closely with Arup's technical experts, offering clients unique insights. The Deal Advisory team spans six areas: Transport, TMT, Energy Transition, ESG, Renewables, and Power & Bioenergy. We're strategists, engineers, economists, and digital specialists guiding clients through transactions and delivering real world infrastructure deployment. As part of our growth, we're seeking a driven graduate to join our Deal Advisory team.

The Opportunity

Arup's award-winning Business and Investor Advisory (BIA) team is recognised as one of the leading technical and ESG advisers in global infrastructure markets. We provide strategic advice across the full project lifecycle, helping clients navigate complex financial, commercial and technical decisions. Our work spans international markets and includes project finance transactions, infrastructure M&A, and the development of robust business cases for major infrastructure projects.

As a graduate, you'll work alongside a diverse team of consultants, engineers, planners, and sustainability experts across sectors such as transport, water, energy, environmental services and emerging technologies. This collaborative, cross-disciplinary approach — known as Total Design, a core Arup value — ensures you'll gain a deep understanding of how your data expertise contributes to real-world outcomes.

Depending on your academic background and interests, you'll be placed within one of our six Deal Advisory areas: Transport, Telecoms Media & Technology (TMT), Energy Transition, ESG, Renewables, or Power & Bioenergy. During your first year, you'll also have the opportunity to rotate across other asset areas, broadening your experience and building a strong foundation for your career.

We're looking for motivated individuals with a bachelor's degree (or higher) in STEM, Economics, Business, Finance, or a related discipline, who are eager to apply their skills to help shape sustainable, data-driven solutions for infrastructure investment.

• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications to undertake analytical modelling and present quality deliverables to clients
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally
• Great reasoning and analytical skills to provide robust deal insights
• Ability to engage with colleagues and project stakeholders to drive successful deal outcomes
• Excellent planning and organisational skills to ensure effective contribution to projects
