About the Primary Teacher Role

As a TalentBoard teacher, you'll play a key role in supporting positive learning outcomes across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the UK primary curriculum.
  • Promote a love of learning by encouraging creativity, curiosity, and independent thinking.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support progress.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom using consistent behaviour management strategies.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed.
  • Support inclusive practice, ensuring every pupil feels valued and able to succeed.
  • Collaborate with school staff to contribute to an effective learning environment.
  • Engage in ongoing CPD to stay current with best teaching practices.
  • Safeguard pupils' welfare, following school and local authority policies and reporting procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • A recognised teaching qualification (BA/BEd/PGCE in Primary Education).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Previous UK primary teaching experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A commitment to professional development and reflective practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate, or willingness to apply for one.
