Are you passionate about helping children thrive?
We're looking for a caring, motivated Primary Learning Mentor to support pupils in a nurturing and creative learning environment. You'll work with children who have SEMH or SEN needs, helping them build confidence, develop positive behaviours, and re-engage with education.
About the role
This specialist primary setting offers small class sizes, 1:1 support, and plenty of Learning Outside the Classroom (LOTC). Expect a mix of indoor and outdoor learning such as:
- Beach and woodland sessions
- Aquarium visits
- Trampoline parks
- Hands-on activities that inspire curiosity and confidence
You'll play a key role in helping children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
Requirements
- Experience in care, youth work, sports coaching, outdoor education, or SEN/mainstream schools
- Full UK driving licence, own car, and business insurance (essential)
- A passion for helping young people grow
- Patience, empathy, and strong relationship-building skills
