Equifind have teamed up with an exciting fintech firm, who need a Financial Planning Analyst to join the London team, as they continue to develop and grow.

You will jump straight in at the deep end, getting immersed with the commercial side of the business and have maximum exposure with as much analysis as you can take.

This is an awesome opportunity for someone analytical and commercially minded to work closely with the wider business and be in charge of all things budget and forecasting.

Key duties and responsibilities for this Financial Planning Analyst position include but aren't limited to:

  • Manage the monthly results against budgets advising necessary action if needed
  • Prepare the rolling forecast for the team
  • Support analysis for the business P&L
  • Take ownership of the budget and forecast models
  • Inspect current KPIs and advise on how they can be improved
  • Research all customer/supplier information to understand relevant cost and sales to advise best course of action
  • Support the finance team with month end duties when required
  • Support the wider finance team with accounting and project experience to improve management Information and controls
  • Assist with the board pack preparation and investment presentations
  • Ad hoc projects as and when requested

Experience & Qualification

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-4 years PQE
  • Power BI experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Experience of the FS sector is beneficial ideally fintech or payments
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong budget setting and forecasting experience
  • Experience of working in a dynamic financial environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, confident communicator, comfortable at all levels of the business.
  • Real team player and can work well with stakeholders across offices

An established fintech firm, who are a great name in the sector. The management are specialists in this space, so you will be joining a great team with some fantastic experience.

The organisation has around 100 employees in the London office, and you will join them in a hybrid working capacity, while you work closely with other team members across the business.

The working culture is highly professional and collaborative. Everyone has a voice and is expected to chip in. The office atmosphere has a great energy.

This is a great opportunity, as you will be working in a very fluid and dynamic environment, where no two days are the same.

Rate/Salary

This exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning Analyst will pay between £60000-£75000, depending on your experience.

We will be holding interviews over the next few weeks and ideally would like a candidate to start before Christmas, so no more than four weeks' notice.

The working pattern is four days in the London office and one WFH. There is flexibility with start times throughout the day.
