Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (10 hours per week)

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to high standards
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is in good working order
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
  • Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and tools efficiently and safely
  • Ensure all areas are left tidy, organised, and hygienic after each shift

Requirements

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the shift
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous
