Due to ongoing growth, we now have the exciting opportunity to recruit a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our GXO team in a busy multiuser site at Sherburn-In-Elmet. You'll provide leadership and guidance for your warehouse team, ensuring that the team have all the tools they need to do their tasks, and that the operation runs smoothly.
This is a full-time, permanent role working a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off 7:30am-7:30pm

We're looking to offer a salary of £33,000 and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. What you'll do on a typical day:
- To control the combined overall output of each operational shift by co-ordinating team leaders and operational activities and effective communication between operations
- Control of all warehouse related operational activities to ensure the effective flow of goods into, through and out of the warehouse by monitoring the operational team performance of the on duty shift.
- Reviewing labour requirements with the Shift Manager planning against volumes and activities to produce labour requirements and work schedules to include contingency plans and overtime requirements
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced logistics environment
- Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a team
- Well-versed in warehouse management systems
- Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
