Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team here at Toyo. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, serving, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
  • Assist with food preparation in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring accuracy in orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and dining spaces.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety practices.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and practices.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Strong time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently when required.
