Job Title: Project Manager - Toolset Capability

Salary: £41,361+ depending on experience
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the coordination of Toolset Cyber Security activities
- Scoping/estimating/scheduling Security Assessment plan, resolve blockers, monitor time/resources required to carry out plan and revise Basis Of Estimates (BOEs) for tasks
- Supporting the coordination of Application Portfolio Management activities
- Aligning plans/schedules with IM&T to capture/estimate Engineering resource requirements
- Developing process/mechanism for coordinating Application Inventory changes i.e. approvals, informing stakeholders via a Change Board
- Supporting the Engineering Toolset Capability Lead to define requirements for Toolset Metrics and Dashboards
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Proven ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholders
- Skilled in using project management tools to track progress, manage dependencies, and report performance metrics
- Expertise in creating, maintaining, and project schedules using recognised scheduling tools
- Ability to apply estimating methodologies and tools to support budget development, forecasting, and decision-making
Desirable
- Understanding of change management principles, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and transition support
- Experienced in identifying, assessing, and managing project risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle

The Toolset Capability team:
This role is an exciting opportunity to implement increased structure and consistency to an existing ad-hoc process. The understanding of our engineering toolsets is evolving, and there's a need for it to be managed in a single source of truth – with effective processes to ensure the data is complete and up to date.
We're looking for an enthusiastic individual, who can work at pace to coordinate and guide a number of technical stakeholders. They must have very good organisational skills, be able to digest lots of different sources of information and be able drive/monitor actions. This role would be perfectly suited to a motivated PM who needs an opportunity to systemise and metricate a complex activity.
