So you're a Sous Chef or a strong Chef de Partie who is up at the crack-of-dawn? You love the idea of being able to get everything set up before the rest of the world wakes up, so that they can come down from their room, smelling then seeing a feast that you've created for them to set them up for the day.

As clichéd as it sounds, you'll believe that delivering memorable experiences really is all about the small details. How will you do this? Well, you'll make sure the coffee is fresh, hot and bottomless; you'll also make sure that your regular guest, Raj, has his 2 (cremated) crispy bacon rashers ready, just as he likes it, for when he comes down for breakfast.

What you'll be doing as a Breakfast Chef

  • Overall responsibility for the breakfast operations in your kitchen
  • Ensuring that every guest experiences a safe visit, exceeding all expectations surrounding cleanliness
  • Setting up for breakfast to give everyone the best start in a calm environment
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting a range of breakfast options – following specifications to ensure everyone has something delicious to set them up for the day
  • Coordinating the team on shift to ensure everything is up to high standards
  • Facilitating unique and special requests from our guests
  • Monitoring portion and waste control in addition to labour productivity to maintain profit margins
  • Ensuring you and your team deliver high standards of food and meet health and safety regulations.
