The Role

You'll be hands-on every day — collecting and clearing waste from homes, sites, and commercial properties safely and professionally.

Typical duties include:

  • Driving 3.5T company vehicles (full UK licence required)
  • Collecting and loading various waste types safely (bagged/unbagged, general waste, wood, construction debris, mixed loads)
  • Garden and site clearances, small demolition and rip-out work
  • Assisting with moving bulky items and commercial clearances
  • Sorting waste for efficient disposal and recycling
  • Keeping vehicles and sites clean and safe
  • Completing paperwork / app-based job reports

Requirements

  • Full clean UK driving licence (minimum 2 years)
  • Good fitness level for manual handling
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Respect for customers, property, and colleagues
  • Positive attitude toward teamwork and safety
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Experience with waste handling, removals, landscaping, or construction preferred but not essential.

(Senior Operative roles available for experienced candidates who can lead small teams or train others.)

Pay & Benefits

  • £12.75–£13.75 per hour (DOE) + performance bonuses
  • Minimum 38 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, typically 8:00am–4:00/5:00pm
