Job description

We are looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our award-winning practice and support our team of general dentists and specialists. Guildhall Dental is a well-established family practice in the Bury St Edmunds' community that has been serving the needs of patients in East Anglia for more than 80 years.

We have a long-standing reputation for providing the very best in essential, affordable dental services to families – from general dentistry to complex dental care. Quality and patient satisfaction are at the heart of what we do and our caring and professional team always goes that extra mile to offer an exceptional Dental experience.

The practice mainly specialises in Oral Surgery and Implants; however, we also provide Endodontic, Orthodontic, Prosthodontic/Restorative services in addition to general family dental care.

Hours: Part time - 3 days a week + 2 Saturday mornings a month

  • You will have previous front of house Dental Reception experience. Specifically experience in call handling
  • You will be motivated, approachable, organised with excellent communication skills
  • Warm and friendly demeanour, providing a professional and welcoming experience for all patients and visitors
  • Excellent command of English language, both verbal and written
  • Flexible; will be required to work minimum 1 Saturday a month and may be required to work late/ early starts as per the practice requirements
  • Highly proficient in SOE Exact and all common Microsoft packages
  • Someone who is very hard working and potentially looking to progress
  • Confident interacting with specialists and wider team
  • Ideally possess clinical knowledge/ have a dental nurse background

  • Previous experience in a health care setting would be an advantage.
