Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Analyse complex data sets using SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI to identify trends and insights that inform business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support financial planning activities by preparing detailed financial models and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Present findings clearly through Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.
  • Assist in process optimisation initiatives by analysing current workflows and recommending improvements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of analysis procedures, findings, and recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding of complex data insights.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong skills in Power BI for creating interactive visualisations and reports.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, or forecasting processes.
  • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret large datasets accurately.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within an IT-enabled environment.
  • Organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple projects efficiently. This position is ideal for candidates eager to utilise their analytical expertise within a collaborative environment while supporting strategic business initiatives through data-driven insights.
