About the Role

Top Furniture Ltd is seeking a friendly, motivated, and dedicated Sales Advisor to join our Sales Department at our Uttoxeter showroom. In this customer-facing role, you will help customers find the perfect furniture, whether in person, over the phone, or through our online channels such as live chat and email.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Committed, positive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Confident communicating with customers face-to-face, over the phone, and online
  • Comfortable using IT systems, with strong typing and computer skills
  • Professional, organised, and able to multitask in a busy environment
  • Patient, empathetic, and capable of resolving customer concerns effectively
  • Results-driven with a strong focus on delivering great customer service

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers in the showroom with product advice and guidance
  • Responding to customer enquiries via telephone, email, and live chat
  • Processing customer orders accurately using internal systems
  • Maintaining a tidy, welcoming, and well-presented showroom
  • Handling customer complaints professionally and constructively

Requirements

  • Tech-savvy with good working knowledge of computer systems and databases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Professional, outgoing, and personable approach
  • Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)

Top Furniture Ltd was formed in 2005 by senior management with a lifetime of experience in the furniture industry with the ambition to supply a top-quality service and product to high street retailers at a very competitive price. We now sell the majority of the furniture that we offer online via the internet, and we are fast becoming the UK's leading online retailer for high quality oak furniture.

We import furniture from several countries around the globe to enable us to source and supply a good choice of furniture products that we feel will sell well in the competitive UK high street and online environment. We are continually sourcing new products to keep ahead of the latest trends and to try and improve our pricing.

We have focused the business on the dining room, living room and bedroom sectors over the past few years with a mixture of natural oak and painted designs after sourcing some very high-quality designs at very good prices from key suppliers. Feedback from customers has been excellent so we adopted the 'If it isn't broke don't fix it' mentality.

The Top Furniture business model is built around innovative designs and great quality at a price far cheaper than you would find on the high street or on other furniture websites.

Most of the designs sold by Top Furniture are designed in house and manufactured by some of the finest furniture manufacturers in the world. Innovative furniture designs are a big factor in Top Furniture's recent growth, and you won't find most of our products on any other website.

Pay: From £20,300.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
