olunteer Opportunity - Membership Officer

Our members make it possible for Small Woods to do what we do best - bringing neglected woodlands into sustainable management and helping people, woods and wildlife to grow together. Their support enables training, advice, and hands-on projects that keep traditional woodland skills and healthy habitats alive across the UK.

We're now looking for a Volunteer Membership Officer to help maintain and strengthen those vital relationships.

This role will involve:

Supporting membership administration, including processing welcome packs, renewals, and donations

Contacting lapsed members and encouraging renewals

Assisting with communications to new and existing members

It's an excellent opportunity to gain administration experience, develop transferable skills, or contribute your time to an organisation that values woodlands and people equally.

The role can be carried out remotely or onsite at our Green Wood Centre in Shropshire.

Volunteers receive ongoing support from our staff team and may have access to training opportunities as part of their involvement.
