Enhanced Teaching Assistant

Sedgefield Community College, part of Laidlaw Schools Trust, are seeking to appoint an Enhanced Teaching Assistant on a part-time basis from January 2026.
This is a term time position working 14.5 hours per week, paying £26,403-£28,598 (FTE), £9,257-£9,918 (Actual)
The role of Enhanced Teaching Assistant involves providing effective support to identified individuals and groups of SEN students under the guidance of our SEND Coordinator. This includes working alongside teachers and other professionals helping ensure work programmes are accessible to individuals and that tasks are being completed as intended. In addition, the role requires post holders to take a key role in the delivery of literacy and numeracy developments programmes.
