PSA Engineer – Transmission | EMS, XA21, SCADA | £75–85k (Flexible) | UK-Wide | Hybrid
- UK-wide (nearest office, 2 days/week onsite)

- Must have UK citizenship or ILR – no sponsorship available
You'll bring:
- Proven experience with
Electric Transmission EMS
and
SCADA implementation - Hands-on expertise in
XA21 EMS/SCADA
or equivalent platforms (Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider) - Strong understanding of
Electric SCADA applications
,
Power DMS/TMS - Solid background in
data modelling
and system integration - Familiarity with
Independent System Operators (ISOs)
or
Transmission System Operators (TSOs)
What you'll do:
- Lead development and delivery of
Power Systems Application software - Collaborate with utility clients to define and implement functional specs
- Design, code, test, and integrate EMS/SCADA solutions
- Optimize applications for performance and reliability
- Support project/product commitments across transmission systemsć
Nice to have:
- EMS domain knowledge with exposure to
SQL/PLSQL - Experience with
test management
and
automated testing frameworks - Understanding of
application tuning
and performance optimization - Prior involvement in
functional software specification
and delivery for utilities
