Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships across the business, ensuring a high-quality, responsive service at all stages of the customer journey. The role focuses on retaining customers, growing account value, and supporting profitable growth through excellent customer service and commercial awareness.
Duties
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, building strong, long-term relationships at all levels.
- Develop a clear understanding of customer commercial and delivery expectations to ensure consistent service and satisfaction.
- Proactively manage day-to-day customer communications, including quotations, order status, and delivery updates.
- Identify and deliver account growth opportunities through new product introductions, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Support sales forecasting, pipeline management, and structured account planning activity.
- Prepare and manage quotations and commercial proposals in collaboration with estimating and engineering teams.
- Manage customer orders from quotation through to delivery and aftersales support.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer commitments are met and issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
- Support the resolution of customer queries, concerns, and complaints in line with company procedures, ensuring timely feedback and closure.
- Maintain accurate records and produce regular account performance, revenue, and service KPI reports through Sales Force.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
