We're looking for an inspiring Digital and AI Trainer to help shape our growing digital journey. Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Training Delivery & Innovation

  • Design and deliver engaging sessions across our Digital apprenticeship programmes.
  • Design and deliver short courses to demonstrate practical use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) and digital technologies such as Power BI.
  • Help shape our digital training offer and contribute to new, forward-thinking content.

Learner Support & Development

  • Guide and coach learners to build confidence, skills, and professional behaviours.
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback on tasks and projects.
  • Hold regular one-to-one sessions to discuss progress, goals, and any barriers to learning.
  • Prepare learners for End Point Assessment in a supportive way.

Quality & Progress Tracking

  • Ensure learner progress is well documented and meets agreed quality standards.
  • Contribute to initial assessment and induction processes.
  • Support continuous improvement of learning materials and resources.

Employer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work with employers to understand skills needs and align training to workplace expectations.
  • Provide impartial advice and guidance during pre-screening and application stages.

Salaries

£35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

Essential Criteria:

  • Five GCSEs (A-C/4+) including Maths and English, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a digital skills or AI trainer role
  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Digital or Computing
  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in teaching or adult training
  • Confident, professional and able to inspire and guide others
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Good ICT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
